Stupid doctor question?

"i had breast reduction surgery 2 weeks ago and for the past few days i have been in a lot of pain from the right side well i called the doctor on a call a few times and asked about it and told him i think i may have an infection but he kept telling me its fine its normal just put a maxi pad over it and it will stop eventually even after i told him it had nasty stuff coming out and it had a nasty smell to it he still insisted it was ok and told me not to go to the e.r. because i would sit there for 4 hours and they wont do anything .. so anyways last night i went to the hospital and the pumped me full of morphine and a really strong antibioticbecause i have an infection and nipple necrosis where the skin dies and i may have to have surgery to have it fixed so i guess what my question is can i do anything about that doctor for telling me im fine when i wasnt and not to come into the e.r. because it would be a waiste of m time ????im not even really upset about the revision of the nipple because i knew all along that it was a comlication thats fine but im really mad about that doc telling me im fine and not to come in what if i didnt and it got worse or the infection made me sick ..."
