Brits, was the AV no campaign full of half-truths?

They said you could vote BNP and get your vote counted more than once. We've a perfect right to vote BNP! And claming your vote is counted twice under AV is either misunderstanding it or deceiving us, or a bit of both. Very few countries do use AV but that is not an argument as it means next to nothing, you might as well say we should all follow what The Sun says. Then there is the argument that people vote No to spite Nick Clegg, which is daft, or the argument that people whould wait for full PR, which is also daft.
